Clocks will move to winter time on 27 October – impact on bus timetables

Winter time will begin on the night between 26 and 27 October, when the hands of the clock are turned from four to three o’clock. The transition to winter time will affect the timetables of night-time long-distance buses. 

Timetable on the night of 26-27 October: 

Helsinki – Rajamäki 

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 2.45 

The service runs normally according to the summer timetable and will run without a separate break. The service arrives in Rajamäki at 3.00 (4.00 in summer time). 

Helsinki–Porvoo  

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 3.22 

The service runs normally according to the summer timetable and will run without a separate break. The service arrives in Porvoo at 3.32 (4.32 in summer time). 

Helsinki–Turku–Helsinki 

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 1.10 and Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 1.50  

The service runs normally according to the summer timetable and arrives in Turku at 3.05 in winter time. 

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 4.00 and from Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 4.35 

The sevices run according to the winter timetable. 

Sun 27 October at 2.15  

The service runs normally according to the summer timetable and it arrives in Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 3.30 and in Helsinki 4.00 in winter time. 

(Warsaw) – Helsinki – Turku – Vaasa 

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 16.20 (From Warsaw sat 26 October at 17.55 local time) 

The service runs from Helsinki according to the winter timetable at 15.20 and it will arrive in Vaasa at 22.50 in winter time. 

(Hamburg) – Helsinki – Jyväskylä – Joensuu 

Sun 27 October from Helsinki at 13.20 and from Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 13.55 (from Hamburg sat 26 October at 4.45 local time)

The service runs from Helsinki according to the winter timetable at 9.20 and from Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 9.55. The service arrives in Rovaniemi busstation at 21.00 in winter time. 

Rovaniemi–Helsinki–Rovaniemi 

Sat 26 October from Rovaniemeltä at 21.00  

The service arrives in Viitasaari at 3.45 in winter time. From Viitasaari onwards the service runs according to the winter timetable. 

Sat 26 October from Helsinki at 21.20
