Matkahuolto’s Chief Executive Officer since 2023 and member of the Management Team. Mika has a long experience in business management and development. He came to Matkahuolto from Telia, where he held the positions of Head of Business (Mobile & Fixed), Head of TV & Broadband (Sweden) and Head of Global Pricing & Offering (Group). Mika holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Director of Legal Affairs and Sustainability since 2019 and member of the Management Team. Riku has many years of experience as a corporate lawyer and legal director, including board work, acquisitions, compliance work and setting up and developing a legal practice. He has previously worked in various roles in Kesko dealing with acquisitions and in Suomen Lähikauppa as General Counsel. Riku holds a Master of Laws degree.

Director of Marketing and Communications since April 2023 and member of the Management Team. Olessia has ten years of experience in marketing communications, brand building, customer insight and service conceptualisation in various industries and companies of different sizes. In recent years, she has worked as a creative strategist with various clients and internationally awarded projects. Olessia holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Director of Digital Travel Services from September 2023 and member of the Management Team. In addition to his strong business skills, Petri has an understanding of customer experience and sales development, as well as stakeholder work with public sector actors. He has previously worked on sales and office network development, as well as various productization, pricing and supply projects. Petri has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration specialising in logistics.  

Director of ICT, Digitalisation and Development since 2024 and member of the Management Team. Petri has more than 25 years of experience in demanding development and management roles from smaller companies to international listed companies, and in industries ranging from telecommunications to construction and from payroll, financial and HR outsourcing to logistics. In his work, Petri has focused in particular on the opportunities provided by digitalisation to develop and enhance business operations, including the customer interface. Petri has an MBA.

Sales Director from February 2025 and a member of the management team. Aleksi has a strong background in B2B business and international logistics. Before joining Matkahuolto, Aleksi has held positions such as Sales Director at VR Transpoint and leadership roles in business and sales at DB Schenker. Aleksi holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Managing Director since 2019 and member of the Management Team. Teemu has more than 20 years of solid experience in the development and management of financial administration. He has worked in service logistics, the energy sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Teemu holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Director of the Parcel Services and Service Point Network business since 2019 and member of the Management Team. Kati has a long career in the logistics industry. She has been responsible for developing processes for receiving, sending and returning parcels, and has worked on data and analytics services. Kati holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Sales Director since 2019 and member of the Management Team. JiiPee has held sales management and development positions in various IT service companies since 1998 before joining Matkahuolto. He has been responsible for streamlining, transforming and developing sales into a value-based business. JiiPee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology.

Chief Operations Officer from February 2022 and member of the Management Team from April 2023. Jani has more than 25 years of experience in demanding development and management positions in international logistics companies. Prior to Matkahuolto, he has held positions such as Production Manager at PostNord, Country Manager at Bring and several demanding management and development positions at UPS. Jani holds an EMBA degree.

Human Resources Director since 2018 and member of the Management Team. Hanna has diverse expertise in human resources management and personnel development in the service business in various fields. Hanna has previously worked in personnel development in Valio and Kesko, among others, and as Human Resources Manager in the S Group. Hanna holds a Master of Food Sciences degree and a Master of Arts degree.

Director of Customer Service since April 2023 and member of the Management Team. Tiina has a long career at Matkahuolto, and for the past few years she has been responsible for managing first the Parcel Services Customer Service Centre and later all customer service and claims operations at Matkahuolto. Tiina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Matti holds the honorary title of Maakuntaneuvos and he is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Matkahuolto. He has previously worked as Regional Mayor of South Karelia and South Savo, and as Deputy Director of the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK). He also holds several positions of trust, for example as Chairperson of the Puumala Municipal Council. Matti holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences.

Johanna is the CEO of Pohjolan Matka. Johanna has previously worked for the company in various administrative and travel services roles. Johanna holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Henri is the CEO of Oulaisten Liikenne Oy. He has previously held various positions at Nokia, and he also chairs the Pohjois-Pohjanmaan ja Kainuun Bussiyrittäjät association. Henri holds the degree of Automotive and Transportation Technician.

Lauri is Chief Strategy and M&A Officer at Fiskars Oyj. He has previously held management positions in various companies, including Sanoma and Comptel. Lauri holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics.

Tomi is the CEO of Siili Solutions Oyj. His previous positions include CEO of Vincit Oyj and Jolla Oy, and Head of Digital Commerce at Finnair. Tomi holds a Doctor of Science degree in Technology and a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Kennet is the CEO of Ingsva. He has previously worked as an entrepreneur, and he has also held a number of positions of trust, for example at Fennia and in a number of different transport companies. Kennet is a technician by training.

Maria is EVP Strategy at SOK. Her previous positions include Head of Strategy and Acquisitions at Fazer and Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.
