Matkahuolto draw rules
Spring campaign:
Between 1 April 2025 and 4 May 2025, all new ticket purchases will be entered into a draw for one (1) Aurinkomatkat gift voucher worth €1,000. The ticket purchase must be made through Matkahuolto’s online ticket shop (liput.matkahuolto.fi) or the Trips and Tickets app. You automatically enter the draw by buying a ticket and paying for it using your personal payment method. Entry to the draw is not possible with a billable ticket. Each purchase entitles you to one entry in the prize draw. A single purchase may include multiple tickets. There is no need to register for the draw as each purchase generates one automatic entry.
Participation in the prize draw is conditional upon acceptance of these rules and Matkahuolto’s general prize draw rules.
Rules of the prize draw:
Participation in the draw
The draw will take place among all customers who make a purchase during the campaign period either through Matkahuolto’s online ticket shop (matkahuolto.fi) or the Trips and Tickets app. The prize draw is open to customers who pay for their purchase using a personal payment method at the time of purchase. Customers who buy subsidised tickets or whose tickets are billed are not eligible to enter the draw. Each purchase entitles you to one entry in the prize draw. A single purchase may include multiple tickets. The organiser reserves the right to reject entries that do not comply with these rules and conditions.
Entry deadline
You can enter the draw by purchasing a ticket through Matkahuolto’s online ticket shop (liput.matkahuolto.fi) or the Trips and Tickets app between 1 April 2025 and 4 May 2025. The ticket must be purchased within the entry period, and the trip can take place up to 60 days after the ticket purchase.
Prizes
One (1) Aurinkomatkat gift voucher will be drawn among all purchases. The value of the Aurinkomatkat gift voucher is €1,000. The winner can use all or part of the amount loaded on the gift voucher when booking their trip on the Aurinkomatkat website or by contacting the customer service of Aurinkomatkat. The gift voucher will be delivered by email and it is valid for 2 years from the date of delivery. The gift voucher is not personal.
In addition, four (4) gift vouchers worth €50 will be drawn for use in the Matkahuolto Trips and Tickets app. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods. The gift voucher is valid for long-distance and local tickets in the Trips and Tickets app. Gift vouchers cannot be used to buy tickets for Onnibussi, VR or local transport (e.g. HSL).
Conducting the draw and delivering the prize
The draw will take place in week 19. Winning entries will be notified by email in week 19 to the email address provided in the registered customer’s contact details or to the email address provided by the customer at the time of ticket purchase.
General rules of the prize draw
Participation in all prize draws organised by Oy Matkahuolto Ab is conditional upon reading and accepting the rules below.

Participation in the draw
You can enter the draw in the manner specified by the draw campaign. To enter the prize draw, please provide the information requested. Incomplete information may result in disqualification from the draw. You can only enter the prize draw once, unless otherwise stated in the campaign or in the specific rules of the prize draw.
Conducting the draw
The draw will be conducted by the organiser of the draw. The organiser of the draw is responsible for all costs related to the conduct of the draw.
Conducting the draw and delivering the prize
The draw will take place within 7 working days of the end of the draw period, unless otherwise stated in the draw notice or in the terms and conditions of the draw campaign.
Matkahuolto will not compensate for the prize if the entrant cannot be contacted, has provided false contact information or does not respond to the prize notification sent. If the winner does not contact Matkahuolto within seven (7) working days of the prize notification, the draw will be conducted again.
Matkahuolto has the right to publish the first name and first letter of the winner’s surname on its website, on its social media accounts or on other Matkahuolto communication channels that are substantially related to the announcement of the winner of the prize draw.
Taxes
Matkahuolto undertakes to pay the statutory taxes on the prize indicated in the official rules. The winner of the prize is responsible for any other costs associated with receiving or using the prize or participating in the prize draw.
Compliance with the draw rules
The official rules apply to all entrants. By participating in this prize draw, entrants agree to abide by these general rules of the prize draw and any instructions and other conditions that may be provided in connection with the entry. If the entrant has acted in violation of these rules or other instructions relating to the prize draw or in violation of the law, Matkahuolto has the right to reject the entry. In the event that the winner of the draw is disqualified, the winner will forfeit their right to the prize.
Right to participate in the draw
The prize draw is open to all natural persons resident in Finland, excluding Matkahuolto staff and their family members.
Processing of personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy statement of Matkahuolto’s Digital Transport Services: Privacy Statement for Digital Transport Services - Matkahuolto All rights to amendments reserved.
Limitation of liability
Matkahuolto is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, including delay or damage caused by the inability to use the prize, caused or claimed to have been caused by participating in the prize draw or receiving the prize. However, this limitation of liability does not affect the rights of the entrant under consumer protection law.
Other terms and conditions
The organiser of the draw is not responsible for any technical problems, telecommunication failures, non-arrival of entries or any other external factors affecting participation. The organiser reserves the right to change the rules of the draw or suspend the draw for justifiable reasons without prior notice.
The organiser is not liable for any damage, loss or expense arising from participation in the prize draw or from the redemption and use of the prize. The prize is personal and cannot be converted into cash or transferred to a third party.
By entering the prize draw, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions.
