Our sustainability programme
Matkahuolto’s sustainability programme is based on a relevance analysis through which we have identified the most important sustainability themes and objectives for us, as well as indicators to monitor their implementation. The relevance analysis identified the following four main themes, which form the backbone of our sustainability programme.

We are an attractive partner and service provider
The focus of our parcel and travel services is on smooth cooperation with our nationwide network of partners. We develop the customer experience by providing our customers high-quality and sustainably produced services.
We mitigate climate change and prevent habitat loss
We are making our transport solutions more environmentally friendly and reducing emissions through measures in line with our climate roadmap. Our goal is to be carbon neutral for all our operations by 2030.
Our activities benefit society at large
We are committed to promoting sustainable business practices. Through our nationwide network of partners, our activities have a major economic impact on the whole of Finland.
