Stored value ticket

The new travel cards intended for those specific groups who are unable to use the Trips and Tickets app are now available for order. With the introduction of the new travel cards, the sale of the old Stored Value Ticket has ended.

The old travel card can be used until 31 December 2024 during the cards validity period. However, top-ups for travel cards on buses has ended on 30 June 2024.

Ticket validity

The Stored Value Card can be used to pay for the trips of one or several persons. The driver charges the Stored Value Card for the trip to be made according to the carrier’s single ticket fare list, with the value loaded on the card decreasing based on the number of trips paid.

The Stored Value Card can be used for trips of varying lengths and on most buses.

However, you cannot travel with the Stored Value Card on OnniBus MEGA services or on local services in the Helsinki metropolitan area (Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen, Vantaa), or in Tampere and Turku. You can check the validity of your ticket in the Timetable Search.
