Single tickets on the app

The app offers long-distance bus and train tickets, as well as local and regional transport tickets subsidised by municipalities and the state. The app can also be used to book DRT rides.

You can buy a single ticket in the app by selecting a ticket product from the menu or by searching for your route in the Journey Planner.

Regional and other ticketing systems’ single tickets

The app also offers single tickets which do not require a reservation for a specific service.

These single tickets have a validity period during which you can travel on any service of the operator concerned in accordance with the ticket conditions. These tickets are used for local and regional transport.

Tickets for Waltti cities and the HSL area are purchased for a specific pair of zones. In the case of other single tickets, the same ticket can be used to travel within the area indicated in the ticket information.

These single tickets are only available on the app:

• Waltti areas: Hämeenlinna, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Kotka region, Kouvola, Kuopio, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Mikkeli, Oulu region, Rovaniemi, Salo, Nysse in Tampere, Vaasa

• Municipalities and cities: Akaa, Hyvinkää, Iisalmi, Kemi, Kokkola, Pieksämäki, Porvoo, Riihimäki, Savonlinna, Urjala, Valkeakoski, Varkaus

• VR long-distance and short-distance trains

• Helsinki Region Transport (HSL)

• Kutsukyytipalvelut: Riihimäki, Pietarsaari, Porvoo, Raahe
