Pick-up parcels are the most used delivery method for e-commerce deliveries in Finland. The parcels are delivered to the pick-up point nearest to the recipient’s address or chosen by the sender. ​The delivery time in Finland is generally one business day, but not more than three business days. When considering the total delivery time, transport to Finland must also be taken into account.

The recipient will be immediately notified by a text or email message when the parcel is ready for pick-up. Notification by letter is subject to an additional charge and extends the storage time to 14 days.

​The delivery time is agreed with the recipient by sending a text message and email link to the service, where they can choose the delivery date and time. The recipient also has the option to accept the parcel without acknowledgement, and give a door code for ensuring successful delivery.​

As a general rule, the delivery time enquiry will be sent within one, but no later than three business days after the parcel has arrived to Finland. When considering the total delivery time, transport to Finland must also be taken into account.

Delivery windows vary from place to place. The most common time windows to choose from are 2-3 hours.​

Matkahuolto drivers will call the recipient if access to the provided address is not possible.

Service is available throughout Finland. Evening deliveries in the largest cities. ​​ ​

The Business Parcel is particularly suitable for parcels delivered to business addresses. Business Parcels are delivered to the recipient on business days between 8.00 and 16.00 without separate agreement on a delivery time.
