Sending parcels abroad

Through Matkahuolto, you can also send parcels quickly and affordably to the Baltics, the Nordic countries and Central Europe. The easiest and most affordable way is to pay for the parcel either in Paketit app or online and use the provided activation code to leave it at any Matkahuolto parcel locker or parcel point all over Finland.

We largely also deliver packages to home doors and pick-up points abroad.

Parcels to Sweden and Denmark

Parcel delivery to pick-up points

Parcels are delivered to the nearest pick-up point chosen by the sender or determined by the recipient’s address. The delivery time is 2-4 days.

In Sweden, our network covers almost 2000 pick-up points that usually operate in connection with grocery stores (ICA, COOP and Axfood). In Denmark, there are almost 3000 pick-up points, including more than 1000 parcel lockers. The Danish pick-up points also operate in connection with the most popular grocery stores (COOP, Salling Group and Dagrofa).

Parcels are held at the pick-up point for 7 days in Sweden and in Denmark 14 days, after which any uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender at their expense.

Extra services

Delivery to specified address between 8.00 and 16.00; the delivery time is not agreed with the recipient in advance. The service includes one delivery attempt. No prior agreement with the recipient regarding the time of the delivery. If the recipient cannot be reached, an arrival notification will be left for them to pick up the consignment at a service point in the destination country.

Parcels to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania

Parcel delivery to pick-up points

Parcels are delivered to the nearest pick-up point chosen by the sender or determined by the recipient’s address. In Latvia and Lithuania, larger parcels are delivered directly to the recipient's door.

The delivery time is 2-5 days. Matkahuolto’s partner in the Baltics is Omniva (Estonian Post), which has 765 pick-up points in the Baltics. Omniva’s network in Estonia includes 263 post offices and 257 parcel lockers.

Parcels are held at the pick-up point for 15 days and in the parcel lockers for 7 days, after which any uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender at their expense.

Parcels are held at the pick-up point for 7 days, after which any uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender at their expense.
